Las Vegas Tango

Récemment j'ai acheté un CD de Gil Evans, certainenent son chef d'oeuvre, The Individualism of Gil Evans (Verve - 1964). m'a fait penser à mes 2 visites de Las Vegas en janvier 2003 et en août 2006. La frénésie de cette ville de pacotilles, qui ne dort jamais, suscite beaucoup de nostalgie mélancolique. La musique de Gil Evans, avec le tuba de Bill Barber et la guitare de Kenny Burrell évoque parfaitement ce sentiment de plaisirs artificiels perdus. Maintenant écoutez et regarder

J'aurais bien voulu assister au concert de Keith à Pleyel le 31 octobre ou le 3 novembre, mais je m'y suis pris un peu trop tard. biensur c'est completement sold out, alors par curiosité je suis passé sur Ebay pour voir les rapaces et l'avoue que je n'ai pas été déçu 351 €
